Will the Earth be capable to feed 10 billion persons in a not so far away future? With the global arable land per person decreasing along the decades, urges the need to increase the agriculture effiencency.
AgRoB, investigation line of INESC-TEC, pretends to introduce precision agriculture in intelligent robotic machines of small/medium size, modular and multi-functional. This investigation lines has the main object of developing robotical components and mobile plataforms, that allow in a near future to provide commercial solutions for steep slope vineyards capable of executing this completly autonomous operations:

  • Monotoring;
  • Spraying and Fertilzing;
  • Pruning;
  • Selective Harvesting.
